Background
I'm Rawi Nanakul (he/him), a Seattle-based second-generation Thai/Chinese/Indian American.

With over 9 years of experience in the tech industry, 7 years in academia, and 3 start-ups, I'm a seasoned tech worker, researcher, and entrepreneur. I have been a product manager, business intelligence engineer, and sales engineer, across multiple tech companies including Amazon and Tableau.

Diversity
As an entrepreneur, I am a co-founder of Common Ritual Whiskey and serve as the CPO/CMO.  My goal is to build an inclusive whiskey company that celebrates the global cultures that whiskey brings together.

My diverse academic journey spans music theory, neuroscience,  and Southeast Asian (SEA) studies. In neuroscience, I specialized in the attention of dementia and autism patients from UC Davis.  In SEA studies, I specialized in Thai kickboxing as a Fulbright Research Fellow, instructor, and professional fighter.

Outreach
As a late-diagnosed person with ADHD and advocate since 2021, I share insights in the product management community through my Substack newsletter.

I've spoken at renowned product management schools including the Product School and Growth School on the topic of ADHD.

Sessions are available in English or Thai, including in-person in Seattle. Contact me to set up a free introduction meeting.

Finding Success Through Coaching

"Rawi helped me change the way I think about my career trajectory and future aspirations. When we first met, I was beginning a search for a new role and found the prospect of interviewing terrifying.

During our sessions, Rawi helped me to “right size” my fears and put my feelings of imposter syndrome at bay. His patience and compassion are immense, and he has provided a truly supportive foundation for my road ahead. Thank you!
